The 1 Grateful Person Tag is based on Luke 19 and the account of Jesus with the 1 out ten lepers he healed who came back to thank him. Let us aspire to be like the 1 who thanked Jesus and not the 9 who did not.

I am so thankful for the wonderful friends I have made here on WordPress. ❤  They are always there for me, emailing me, checking on me and praying for me. I have never had friends like that. Being a pastor’s daughter, I couldn’t get very close to people at church. How can you be close friends when you can’t share your struggles or things you and your family are dealing with? I would never want to “mess someone up” by being real. Eventually, I found myself making friends with sinners. I always seemed to get along better with men and I had lots of male friends. I ended up dating and marrying some of them. As much as I love my sinner friends and my Men, I need something that they do not give me. My sinner friends and my Men seem to have no concern for my soul or where I will spend eternity (a couple of them almost sent me there early). I NEEDED Christian friends, but I turned to the world. I let the world in and cut Church out. Not now though, I can finally see how vital it is to have good Christian friends and how important it is to let them in. It’s okay, people can handle the REAL me. In fact, they go through some of the exact same things that I do. No one is yelling at me or leaving their church over me sharing my story/feelings/thoughts. You know what they do? They PRAY for me and they leave encouraging comments on my post. I never saw that coming. Since I started blogging, I have realized just how much I need people in my life who care about my spiritual well-being and who draw me closer to Christ. The friendships I have with these people are priceless. ❤ ❤ ❤

Hey, we need you too sis! Like you, I had many sinner friends but they kept getting me in trouble 🤔

Having Christian friends that care about YOU and not just what you can do for them is amazing! And I agree this blogging community is top notch!

    Love ya sis!
