Here are the questions:

1. What is your worst Thanksgiving memory?

2. Is there anyone in your life, living or non-living, that you never got to thank for something but wish you could? If yes, who and why?

3. White potatoes, red potatoes, gold potatoes, or sweet potatoes?

4. White meat, dark meat, tofu, or no meat?

5. Pumpkin or pecan pie? (If neither, tell us your favorite!)

6. If you celebrate Christmas, do you put the tree up before or after Thanksgiving? If you don’t celebrate Christmas, are there other traditions you have for the holidays?

7. Black Friday is coming! Do you like stores to open on Thanksgiving? Do you participate at all? In-store or online?

8. What is your best or favorite Thanksgiving memory?

Here are my answers:

1. What is your worst Thanksgiving memory?

Oh goodness… that would probably be the year I agreed to meet family at a restaurant. They wanted to go, so I braved the masses and took my daughters to have a nice Thanksgiving lunch with our relatives. I sat there outside the restaurant with my daughters for at least an hour waiting for family to show up. My youngest has special needs and we couldn’t be seated until the rest of the party had arrived. When they finally arrived, there was no explanation and no apology. I’m still shocked. I would NEVER do that to someone and not apologize, not give a reason why… never.

These kind of moments are actually teaching lessons. Seriously, I have learned so much about how not to treat people by the way I have been treated by certain people in my life. I hope I never make anyone feel unwanted or unloved.
2. Is there anyone in your life, living or non-living, that you never got to thank for something but wish you could? If yes, who and why?

Let’s see… I have more than one person.

I wish I could thank my grandmother for being more of a mother to me and loving me like no one else did. We had a special relationship. I loved going to see her and staying at her house. I liked being at her house more than at home. When I was young, she made me feel loved and like I was never a burden. I returned some of that love to her later in life while taking care of her for a little while before she passed away. Someone told me that my grandma said that I was “special”. I wish I knew that sooner.

I wish I could thank a very special man who loved me and got a raw deal when I was forced to end our relationship (Mr. Fantasy). He treated me like a lady. He was such a gentleman even though he looked like a rock star and had lots of experience with the ladies I am sure.  I wish I could thank him for how good he was to me and let him know how much he meant to me.

3. White potatoes, red potatoes, gold potatoes, or sweet potatoes?

Gold potatoes! 🙂
4. White meat, dark meat, tofu, or no meat?

White meat. I can’t stand dark meat or tofu.
5. Pumpkin or pecan pie? (If neither, tell us your favorite!)

Pumpkin and pecan. I love pie. ❤
6. If you celebrate Christmas, do you put the tree up before or after Thanksgiving? If you don’t celebrate Christmas, are there other traditions you have for the holidays?

My tree goes up on Halloween night. Just the tree and the tree skirt usually. I don’t like having red and green decorations out at the same time with my Thanksgiving decorations. I like to decorate right after Thanksgiving.
7. Black Friday is coming! Do you like stores to open on Thanksgiving? Do you participate at all? In-store or online?

I have only been black Friday shopping once that I remember. I like to shop from home, in my pajamas, on my computer sitting at the dining room table with my oldest daughter. That’s fun to me.

8. What is your best or favorite Thanksgiving memory?

***Oh, ho, ohhhh…. this isn’t going to be “G” rated! If you are one of my younger readers or sensitive to sexual talk/expressions PLEASE scroll on down to who I chose to tag and skip this one.***

(DollFace was joking that I might loose followers over this answer, but told me to go ahead.)

Okay, the best Thanksgiving I ever had was the one I spent all alone with my Man. He was excited to have a lovely Thanksgiving dinner cooked by me. I wanted to make everything perfect, but cooking isn’t my best skill. He is all about “shock and awe”, he had picked out a huge turkey for just the two of us and I put it in the oven (I don’t even know if it was completely thawed). Hours later, it was nowhere near done. I had no idea what I was doing! This was the first huge turkey I had ever cooked. He’s definitely not with me for my cooking skills. 😉 For him, I try to be 3/4 cup “Victoria Secret” mixed together with 1/4 cup “Betty Crocker”. Having the place all to ourselves, I was only wearing a very short t-shirt and little tiny panties (I know, I know!). Women don’t usually do that while cooking I suppose. He LOVED it. I guess I had decided to show him a little “shock and awe” that day. We made very good use of our time together while waiting on the turkey to cook (that man knows exactly how to… “stuff my turkey”, if you know what I mean). Wow. And the image of me in my little “outfit” while trying to prepare a special dinner for him is one he can’t get out of his head. Even in front of people, he talks about that Thanksgiving and my outfit with a big smile on his face. Our Thanksgiving turkey finally reached an edible temperature at some point later that night and he got to carve it up. I love my kids and I love having them with me for the holidays, however, I really don’t think anything will ever top those memories I have of that Thanksgiving with my Man. It was most definitely the BEST Thanksgiving ever.

That’s the kind of Thanksgiving I would want 😂😂

Perfectly played. And if someone leaves because of that story well shame on them. It’s called married life trying to squeeze in some quality fun in the mix!!

Your grandmother was/is right! You are special! One of a kind, like no other, hand made by God!

Thanks for the tag too! I’m almost ready to post it. Just wish I had a story like yours to with it. Maybe one day Angie and I will have that. Hey, one can hope!!😊

Oh my, I was talking with Des and I decided to just write it out the way I talk in real life. It was risky, but I’m just being honest. I do believe this may be the most viewed post with the least likes/comments! Wow. I’m rethinking talking about sex. People lose the fun way too much in my opinion. They let life/kids/family/work distract them. I try to always be playful with my Man no matter what Hell is breaking loose.

Awe… thank you! ❤ You are so sweet. I miss her so much. She is the reason I had courage to leave a very bad man. I am here today because of her loving me and being the tough woman she was.

You're welcome! Thank you for making these so much fun to do by always being a good sport and happy to participate. 🙂
Brother Stuart, I pray you get the desire of your heart and make some happy holiday memories with a beautiful, loving wife that you will never get out of your head. 😉

I get it. Most of my post that reference sex are usually the lest liked, though they do ganner some great conversation. Please rethink it! We need to be being the fun back into sex. It’s meant to be fun, serious and sensual all at once 🙂

Thank you for those prayers sis! Keep screaming them to the Lord maybe He’ll do something quicker 🙂
